Y6 Residential Visit to Whitby
The annual Y6 residential visit to Whitby again took place in the last week of term. As in previous years we had a packed week which included several visits to beaches, shopping in Whitby, a steam train ride and a visit to the Sea Life Centre in Scarborough. The children had a thoroughly enjoyable week finishing their primary school education and you can see what they got up to here.

KS2 Production of The Lemonade Kid
The KS2 children again did themselves proud as they performed our latest production - The Lemonade Kid. The story told of a British visitor to the WIld West who didn't believe in guns and overcame the town's baddie using just his favourite drink. The actor's and the chorus had been practising all term and the work paid off with two rousing performances over consecutive nights.

Family Sports Day
Our annual Family Sports Day again took place in two parts with children and parents demonstrating their excellent teamwork. In the morning the children competed in running races against members of their class which was followed by a variety of team races. In the afternoon the children joined together in their house teams with representatives from each year group to compete against each with an aim of promoting co-operation and teamwork.
